Description
The Tala Voronoi III LED bulb is the largest sculptural lighting piece in Tala’s innovative range, combining cutting-edge design with sustainable technology. Inspired by natural Voronoi patterns found in forest canopies, this statement pendant light features an organic, hand-blown glass form that showcases biomimicry in lighting design.
Through a year-long design process involving 3D printing and simulated erosion techniques, Tala created this unique bulb that mirrors Fibonacci formations seen in pine cones and ferns. The custom-built LED filament curves around a central column, producing a distinctive golden glow through light reflection and refraction.
Measuring 40cm x 25cm, the Voronoi III represents the pinnacle of Tala’s biomimetic lighting collection, embodying their Conservation Through Beauty philosophy. This engineering marvel demonstrates how LED technology can push the boundaries of traditional glassblowing techniques.
Perfect for creating dramatic focal points, display in clusters of three for maximum visual impact. The bulb operates on 120-240V, uses only 5 watts, and provides 210 lumens of warm 2200K light with exceptional color rendering (CRI > 95). Dimmable with trailing edge dimmers and mercury-free, this energy-efficient light has an average lifespan of 15,000 hours with 20,000 switch cycles.

The Tala Voronoi III is a stunning sculptural piece that truly stands out in my living room. The hand-blown glass has a beautiful organic texture, and the warm 2200K glow creates such a cozy ambiance. At 40cm, it’s quite a statement without being overwhelming. I was initially skeptical about the price, but the build quality and unique design make it worth every penny. It’s not just a light bulb—it’s art. The only minor issue is that it’s not the brightest option for task lighting, but as a focal piece, it’s perfect.
